What: This citrus terpene is found in oranges, grapefruit and lemons. It’s often used in the cosmetics industry.

Super-power: Limonene serves up lots of therapeutic benefits such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-anxiety, pain sensation and antiviral. It also works as an antidepressant that boosts gastro-intestinal health.

Bisabolol: Anti-Anxiety + Anti-Inflammation +  Pain Relief

What: Bisabolol is found specifically in Brazil’s Candeja tree. You might recognize it as the calming terpene you find in a cup of chamomile tea.

Super-power: Bisabolol has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and pain-relieving properties, and is also used in topical care products for sensitive skin. 

Caryophyllene: Anti-Inflammation + Pain Relief

What: This fascinating terpene is found in cloves and pepper, and acts like a cannabinoid on our ECS (Endocannabinoid System).
