Tyrone Williams is a an essential fixture of Chinatown, NY. Owner of Manhattan’s premiere bike shop and innovator of a unique street style riding, Williams continues to shape the cultural landscape of BMX not only in the city, but all around the globe. Sandwiched in between the downtown hubs Kiki’s and Bacaro, Da Shop boasts one of the most vibrant atmospheres in the neighborhood. Between the swarms of BMX riders pipe-grinding and popping wheelies to cheffing up delicious BBQ (Tyrone’s jerk chicken is out of this world) , you’re always in for a show on Division Street. We had the chance to catch up with Williams one fine Sunday morning, read below.
